Please look into at least getting the start orb working like it did back in vista/7. Start11 is not perfect for search as well and feels clunky. Startallback not only brings back w10's taskbar but it also re-introduces skinning the taskbar jumplist again as well. That was not cool!Īs for just using explorerpatcher+start11, Thats not feasible for me. A whole paragraph went poof along with images to go with it.

The taskbar will apply the WB skin because thats the point of WindowBlinds.
This is not new, Start10 and WindowBlinds 10 worked the same way.įor the Start menu you have the choice of using the WB skin or the Start11 style. I understand that it probably won't happen because it's too difficult but I set the start bar and menu for the way I want it in window blinds just overrides everything options instart 11 are grayed out. Would really like to see an option not to change the start bar. That stinks because window blinds totally destroys start 11.

That said I believe you could use Start11 with explorer patcher if you really liked the Win10 taskbar as WindowBlinds will see that as Windows 10 (or will do in beta 2 and above) Worth noting that Start10/11 are both designed to cooperate with WB in order to prevent such issues. The start menu and taskbar are both part of explorer and the only simple solution there would be to exclude the entire of explorer as there is overlap between those and other areas in how WB does things. I am afraid this is not something thats technically viable from our end as it isn't quite that simple. Can you please add in an option to not skin any parts of the taskbar & startmenu under windowblinds settings.
